IVU-V UPDATE

EL TABACO, CHILE:MORE PRIMARY SULPHIDES

The company is pleased to report that the mineralization reported in hole 1 has been extended to the west in vertical hole 1A wherein a 68 metre section reported 0.83 percent copper (136-204m) as follows:

18 - 36 m chalcopyrite 18m 0.25% copper
96 - 102m " 6m 0.36% "
136- 174m " 38m 1.15% "
188- 204m " 16m 0.81% "

Holes 9-13 reported low levels of copper in all cases and were located to test for copper oxide mineralization. Hole 9 was drilled in an area expected to have over one percent copper but was later determined to have been drilled down a shear which had been heavily leached. The large drill rig being used precluded more drilling in the area previously reporting good oxide on a hole by hole basis and further testing of the oxide will require a smaller unit. Holes 10-13 encountered silicified rock which is not a good host for the oxide.

Hole 14 was used to evaluate a geophysical anomaly and returned a section of pyrite with minor scattered chalcopyrite between 10 and 54 metres and a section of 0.1 percent copper over 16 metres between 110 and 126 metres. This anomaly strengthens to the north and will be re-drilled.

Drilling and evaluation of geophysical targets continues.
