DRILLING TO RESUME ON ZULEMA (IOCG) COPPER GOLD TARGET, CHILE

The company is pleased to report that our joint venture partner will commence drilling to follow up on a 28 metre intersection which averaged 0.24% copper and 0.14 gpt gold within a 1.2 km by 1.0 km induced polarization anomaly. The result was found at the bottom of a two hundred metre hole within a strengthening geological and geophysical environment at depth. The property is within the geological and structural setting of the BHP/Farwest joint venture in which a drill hole encountered 60 metres of 2.47% copper and 0.33 gpt gold (news release 28 July, 2003).

The Zulema property is only 30 km west of the Candelaria Mine with reserves of 500 million tonnes grading 0.95% copper and 0.14 gpt gold and comprises a geophysical target of similar potential size.
